"Einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr"‏

Our first sight of Elder Nik on Christmas Day.

"Happy New Years!"

Servus,

First off, just gotta say, it was awesome getting to see you guys this last week. Definitely the highlight of my week was getting to see you guys! I love you all so much!

So here we are. The last week of 2014. Crazy how fast the time flies by. I have learned so much in 2014. I will always look back to this year with a smile on my face! So many good memories. I have met so many amazing people this year. I don’t even know if I could begin to keep track.
From the beginning of the year out in Erfurt to Aachen and now to my "German home" Wiesbaden, I have learned countless and priceless lessons that I will use through out my life. 2014. Good year.
There's that smile!

Meeting the family that hosted our
Missionary for Christmas.
We are so grateful for people
that love and take care
of our son.  Elder Nik is making
lifelong friendships with wonderful people.
Here we come 2015!

Oh yeah and this last week was awesome. I told you guys pretty much everything that really happened in the Skype. Had a few awesome investigator lessons and then we celebrated Christmas with some of the coolest members in the world.

Thank you guys for everything that you do for me. I love you. Have a great week and throw up the pictures you got from Skype because I forgot my SD card reader. Sorry haha.

Keep on doing amazing things. Make 2015 the best year ever. (It will be, because you will see me in like 3 months haha.)

Thought going into the new year comes from Proverbs 27:3. Read this the other day and I love it. You guys raised me on this principle. It says:

"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

So think and get it into your head that this is going to be an amazing year. You will be successful and you will work miracles and change for the better.

My overall goal for 2015 is to make everyone that I come across feel loved. So follow up on me with that!

I better get headin! But I love you all.

Happy New Years!!

Frohe Weihnacht!‏

"Merry Christmas"

Hey you! Crazy stuff. Get to see you guys in a few days. I’m really really excited.

So just so that you guys know I will be hopping on to my Skype at 19:00 my time. Or 7 pm. That means that you guys should be on at about 11 am. Hope that works!

This week has been really just super awesome. I’m looking forward to talking with you guys. So much to do and to talk about.

What is weird to think, is that this will be my last Skype session with you guys. Time is flying by out here.

Thank you all for everything that you do to support me. You are amazing in every sense of the word.

See you all on Christmas!

I love you.

Hand sanitizer on my scar. It was acting up and bleeding. So we had to disinfect it.

At a members home! Sister Laurado is awesome.
Our investigator Freddy was there as well.

Ich muss Schnell Sein‏

"I gotta be quick!"

Servus!

Yet another amazing week here in good ol` Wiesbaden. We had a really solid week and saw a few really awesome miracles.

We got another referral to go by and see this guy named Diter this last week. We went by, gave him a Book of Mormon and he just opened right on up to us. It was awesome. As we were telling him about the Book of Mormon he stopped us and said that he felt so good in that moment and he wanted to know what that was. We then bore some testimony of the Gospel and the Holy Ghost and all of that awesome stuff. Really just an awesome Appointment. We will be going back this next Wednesday to teach him again! Pray for him.

As far as everything else goes, I finally got your thing for your package. I will be sending that today! Sorry, it might be there a little late, but just know that it is on its way!

Also, man. The Wiesbaden ward is the coolest. I have such a strong relationship with all of the members here. I’m really happy to be here for Christmas. They brought so many gifts for us yesterday that it was hard to carry them all out. They are really taking care of us here.

I’m way happy, pretty healthy and just loving life. I’m really excited to see you guys in 10 days for our Skype session. We will set up a solid time next week but we should plan on like 7 pm my time.

I love you all and I am so proud to call all of you family. You are doing amazing things out there.
Keep the emails and the Prayers coming. They do wonders!

Love you. Frohe Weihnachten.

I'm adding pictures that were sent to me by another Frankfurt Missionary Mom.  I love it when people share pics of our Missionary! - Lia a.k.a. Momma

I loved that every Missionary in this picture is using his camera!  Elder Nik is the one with his back to us and the grey coat.

I LOVE this picture!  It makes me happy!

Good to see him dressing warm.  I hope he doesn't get sick again.

A little frisbee in the park.
Good to see that they take advantage of their time set aside to have some fun.

Wiesbaden. mein Zuhause‏

Super Blurry, "It snowed for the first time! "
"Wiesbaden. My home."
Old Wiesbaden crew.

Servus Euch,

I had a really good week this week. A ton of stuff was going on, I was kept really busy and the work really progressed.

One of my favorite things about this week.. We had our Ward Christmas Party. It was so great. But what really made it awesome for me, was just looking around and thinking about all of the memories I have with all of these people. We really have an amazing ward here in Wiesbaden. I have been with these people for a huge chunk of my mission now. What really got me was some of the members coming up to me and saying how thankful they were that I got to stay another transfer. I am so happy that I get to stay here for Christmas!  I would love to end my 2 years here in Wiesbaden. Great city. Great work.
The back of our car was totally stuffed after transfers!
(Zone Leaders get to play Santa and deliver all the packages from friends and families for Christmas!)

Pic of the Family Friedrichsdorf banner.

Some of the kids in our ward. They are great. Hahaha!
They got to take pics with the Elders cause they helped us clean up after the Christmas party.
Other things that made this week awesome:

1- We were able to get 6 Investigators to attend church this last week. That was such a miracle. We plan for a few at least every week, but people have their free agency and sometimes it just doesn’t really work out. But yesterday… it really worked. Everyone that said they would come, came.

2-We set another Baptismal date! This one is with Sebastian. He is a really great guy. Pray for him. He is 24 years old and way out going.

3-Had a way fun split with Elder Bishop. He is a really good guy. On our split we taught a few really good lessons together. Also, on our split we bought a Christmas tree, raided a Potato field and had a really good time. Got kicked out of a ladies house and both got Blitzed! (Instead of cops, they have traffic cameras that flash or "blitz" you when you are going too fast.) Really good day.

4- A member in our ward, Sister Lauredo called us up and said that she has a friend that she wanted us to meet with. His name is Freddy. She took us to his house. We shared the Good Book with him and he wants to meet again! YAY member missionary work.

The work is going great. Keep on praying for me and the work. It helps. Also pray for Jimmy and Eve. They are still meeting with us but we need to move the baptismal date back so that we can work on a few things together. But seriously, they are awesome. I love them. They will make it.

We are still seeing so much success right now. I am so thankful for that. I am happy and healthy (Not wearing shorts today).

I love you all! Thank you for everything!

Love,
Elder Anderson

Dezember schon?!‏

No idea why I would get sick when I dress so warm during Winter. Oops. Maybe thats why....
"December Already?!"

Wow. Time is just flying on by. Already Christmas time. The Weihnachts markets are already up and running and we are starting to listen to Christmas music. Yay. I love the feeling that comes around Christmas time. It is always so happy and nice. And people really start to open up. Tis the Season.

Well. Transfers news just came in. I will be staying yet another cycle in Wiesbaden! I’m going on 5 cycles here. By the end of this transfer I will have been in Wiesbaden for 7 and a half months. Pretty long time. But that is ok. I love it. I love the work here. I love the ward and the members. And I really love our zone. Always a great time.

As for this last week, things that made it awesome…

Me and Elder Renn in our Lamanite gear for Zone Training. Haha!
1) I was on a 5 day split with Elder Renn. He is a really awesome guy  and we did work. He serves normally in Koblenz, but since Koblenz is so far away, and we had to do multiple splits in Koblenz, he just came here with me for the week and Elder Noorda split around with the other missionaries in Koblenz. We taught a bunch of lessons and got a ton of stuff done and ready for our Zone Training.

2) I’m staying in Wiesbaden for Christmas!

3) Elder Renn and I gave an awesome theme "lesson" (pronounced Tay ma). We gave a Zone Training theme on obedience. We used the Lamanites and the Anti-Nephi-Lehis as an example. And we dressed up for it too. Hahaha, see attached pics!

4) We got to go on some teaching splits with Bishop Moohr. He is a really good guy and looks out for us.

5) I got to go to the Temple today. I love being in the Temple Zone. Temple is just in the backyard, so it is pretty easy for me to get there  once a transfer. There is always a special spirit in there and it is wonderful being able to go in there and just meditate and think about life and everything.

Ohhh. I just wanted to say thank you guys so much for the Package. I got that this last week. I love it. Thank you so much for always thinking about me and letting me know that you care. I hope you know that the stuff that you do for me means the world. I love you guys so much.

Oh yeah. Guess what. I got an email from the church today. It informed me that I will be going home soon. They said that I will be finishing on the 9th of April, 2015 and then flying out on April 10th. That is the plan, unless you guys plan on picking me up. In which case I will stay with you. But the mission office needs to know ASAP. So let me know if you plan on picking me up! I am good either way. I would love to show you guys around Germany though!

I’m getting kinda old on the mission. Menschen kinder.

Families are forever!

I love you guys,

Elder Nikora
