Noch Einer‏

"Another One"

Servus Euch,

Transfer calls were this last Saturday. There are a ton of changes coming up this Transfer. But I’m way excited. It’s going to be a really good one. So as for what’s going on here: I am staying and Elder Schmidt will be leaving to work in Mannheim. My new companion is Elder Noorda. I have heard a ton of good things about him. I’m really excited to go out and work it with him.
So it’s pretty crazy. They white washed the American Elders (the Elders serving in the American Military area of Wiesbaden). Meaning that both of them are getting transferred out and 2 brand new guys will be coming in to take their places. That means that all the Elders, except for me, are getting moved away. Makes me actually pretty sad. I’m gonna miss them. I had 3 transfers here with all of them and I got pretty close to Elder Melanson and Swallow. Good guys.
But it’s ok, Elder Ball (A really good friend from earlier in the mission) is coming over so at least I’ll know him! Haha, He is going to be the new DL here in Wiesbaden.

But yeah other than that, the zone got changed a ton. 3 of our District Leaders changed. Only the Koblenz DL stayed the same. So it will be fun working with some "new" faces. The 3 new District leaders are already pretty good friends of mine! In fact 2 of them were in my MTC district! Elder Möller and Elder Brandner! Yay. It’s gonna be a great transfer.

So that is my life the next 5 weeks ! (Its a 5 week Transfer)

This week was another pretty solid one! The weather was not the best and we were super busy so I still wasn’t able to get that pic for you mom! But this week, I got chu!

Last week was pretty solid work wise. We had a ton of Members appointments. We are working a lot more with members now to try and implement our GMLs (Ward Mission Leader) mission plan.

We had some solid termins. The members here are so solid and I’m really getting close to them. I’m going 4 Cycles here! That’s longer than I’ve ever been in another area!

Hmmmm, Thoughts this week.
I studied a ton about the atonement of Jesus Christ and what that really means for us. Its really amazing knowing that with Christ you can change even the hardest of hearts. I love it. I have changed a ton serving as a missionary. And for that I am so thankful. But I still have an eternity ahead of me. Still a lot to change and what not. It’s really great.
Like it says in Timothy 4:1-8. Keep on keeping on and Keep the Faith!

I love you Guys!

Woche 6 Schon Fertig!‏

Elder Melanson and I in the forest.
"Week 6 already done"

Dear Loved ones,

Wow, week 6 is already done. Usually that means the end of a transfer, except this time because we have a seven week transfer. Yay. So we will find out what is happening this Saturday. Good stuff.

So this week was really really fun. (Probably as fun as Orlando, haha) We started out on P-day going to a place called Königstein "King Stone". There are a ton of Castles there, and we had a good day of hiking around to the different places. We got so lost though. We were in the forest and we took a wrong turn and we were lost for like an hour!

Me in the forrest.
Then later on in the week I got to go on a split to Wetterau. Really great place. I had a good time with Elder Rogers there. He is a really good missionary.

Me and Elder Melanson.
Trunk or treat.
We also had a really solid day at a street display. This one was different because all of the missionaries in the Usingen District have learned how to make Balloon animals! So a big part of the Display was them making Balloon Animals and then we would attach a pass along card to it and then hand it to the people on the street as a way to break the ice. Loved it. Way fun. Super Creative.

Our car and the Wiesbaden crew for the
 Trunk or treat !
Then this weekend, so much fun. We did a trunk or treat with all the missionaries here in Wiesbaden. So we decorated our trunk and handed out some candy and pass along cards. Honestly, so great. It was hilarious and we met some people that are interested in the message! So super fun and successful.

I love you guys. Thanks for your emails and everything that you do for me. I love you so much!

Keep on praying for me and the work. It works.

My thought for the week... If you enjoy what you are doing, then you will be successful. Go into things with a good attitude. Get into YOUR flow. Be yourself. Because there are people that only YOU will be able to touch.

I love you all soo much!

Love,

Es gibt regen draußen‏

"There is rain outside"

Yay. Rain. Its pretty cool. It will be interesting though, because today we are having a Zone P-day in Königstein. So pray that the rain lets up a little, haha!

This last week was a really solid one. We were able to meet again with Landu. We talked about the Restoration of the gospel and the Origins of the book of Mormon. It was a really spiritual moment. I got to talk about the first vision with him. He really liked that. But we will need some prayers on his behalf. His father is an Evangelical minister, and so he is super skeptical about the Book of Mormon. Hopefully when he is praying this week he will feel something. But right now we are just working with him to help him gain a solid testimony of the Book of Mormon.

Also this week, I got to go  on a split with Elder Ball. That was really fun. Elder Ball is a really good guy. Love him. I was up in Solingen when he first came up to the mission over a year ago. Crazy how time flies by. Also crazy how time in the mission can really help people change and become something different.

Aghhh, mom! I don’t have my camera cord on me  right now! Sorry. But I will get you that pic ASAP. I would run back to get it and send it to you but I have to catch a train to Bad Hamborg in a little bit!

I am doing really well though. I am healthy and learning a lot out here! Thank you guys so much for your continued support. I love you all so much!

Aghh, Family is seriously everything. I have learned that out here for sure. I am so thankful that I have you guys in my life.

I have to go. I love you guys! Thanks for everything! I’ll get you the pic ASAP mamma!

Till next time!

General Konferenz Woche!‏

Pic of the Eazy Wiezzy Crew during Gen Con.
"General Conference Week!"

I have really come to love and appreciate General Conference. It is such a wonderful and uplifting time. I learn so much every time it comes around! I still haven’t seen the last session of General Conference yet though. I will be watching that next week in church.

But from what I have been able to see I really really enjoyed the talks from Elder Cook. How he talked about just taking control of your own life and really just pushing forward in life with a solid goal.

I also enjoyed the talk from Elder Jörg Klebingat. It was really to the point and inspired me to keep on going on.

Oh man, and then the talk from Elder Holland about charity and caring for the poor and needy. That one really touched me. Such a solid talk. Made me realize how blessed I am right now and how blessed we as a family have been. Conference was great!!

I love you guys so much. Thank you so much for everything that you do. Aghhh, General conference weekend always makes me think about you guys a ton.

MMMMmmmm, do your morning sport…
 H
aha, a little motivational poster in the Friedrichsdorf Appartment. Haha!
But this last week was a really really good one. We had our first Zone Training meeting with the new Zone. Seriously a solid group of missionaries. Love them. Afterwards I went to Friedrichsdorf on a split with Elder Christensen. Had a really good time. And then afterwards, I went on a split with Elder Swallow in the American area. Both of the splits were super fun.

Pic of me in Beautiful Wiesbaden
As far as investigators go, this last week everyone was super busy and so we didn’t get to meet with them. But we stayed in contact and we will be seeing them this week. Also, during my split with Elder Swallow we found us a new Investigator named Landu! Super great. And then during the 2 hour break in General Conference yesterday, Elder Melanson and I went and hit the streets. We found a new girl named Madeline! It was really solid. So we got 2 new people from our own efforts and then we got 2 new Investigators because a Sister in our ward brought them to a YSA activity. So we will now also be teahcing Bibiano and Yammile.

It was a great week filled with Miracles. Thank you guys for your constant support. You guys are great and I am praying for each of you daily!

I love you all!!
